Hotel l'Esperance Brussels

Description
Designed in 1930, the charming hotel and tavern l'Esperance is one of the last works of the famous architect Léon Govaerts (1860 - 1930). The Art Deco building retains its beautiful marble façade with a vertically lit signboard above the entrance door with typical graphic letters.
To renovate the facade, Vimar called on our exterior plaster EcoMortar R100 from Saint-Astier. With this easy-to-use lime plaster, the craftsmen restored the exuberant ornamentations. This was later finished with a siloxane paint such as RC Siloxcoat.
