ECOMORTAR R100 is a mineral filler based on natural hydraulic lime from Saint-Astier®, fine quartz sand (0-0.6 mm) and specific aggregates, which is used as a thin levelling mortar for the equalisation and preparation of the substrate. It does not contain any cement or other pozzolanic components.
Both indoors and outdoors, ECOMORTAR R100 can be used to create a thin primer as a base for further lime mortars, coatings, etc. ECOMORTAR R100 can even be applied on old paint coats; the substrate must, of course, be sufficiently adhesive and stable. In interior applications, it is the ideal primer for plaster and lime paints.
