Beauvoorde Castle

Beauvoorde Castle is one of the best kept secrets in the Westhoek. The 17th-century pleasure garden is surrounded by a beautiful castle park. For the restoration works on the castle, some of our products were used for both interior and exterior works.

Interior

Artes Woudenberg used our products for the beam-head repairs. The affected wood was removed down to the healthy wood, then the fiberglass rods were anchored in the healthy wood with RC 850 epoxy adhesive, and a formwork was installed to pour the RC Poly-wood epoxy product.

Exterior

The exterior facade of the castle was addressed with Saint-Astier products. The stone repairs were carried out with the natural stone repair mortar St.One in the color Savonniere Dark. NHL 3.5 was used for the pointing.
