FIBERGLASS RODS

Article

Glass fibre rods for the polywood epoxy system

Glass fibre rods are glass fibre reinforcement rods for construction and renovation. They are completely inert, non-corrosive, non-conductive and weigh only one quarter as much as a steel rod. The characteristics of fibreglass rods are closer to those of wood than of steel in terms of modulus of elasticity, expansion and shrinkage. The rods have a spiral winding and are sanded to improve the adhesion with the epoxy, the wood or the concrete.

Advantages

  • Completely inert;
  • Non-corrosive;
  • Non-conductive;
  • Weighs only 1/4th of the weight of a steel rod;
  • Sanded in to improve adhesion.

Dimensions

The standard length of fiberglass rods is 3 meters. Rods with a diameter of 6 mm, 10 mm, 12.5 mm, 16 mm and 20 mm we have in stock as standard. If you require a different diameter, this is possible, but you should expect a longer delivery time.
