In 1765, Leuven's Saint Geertrui Abbey established the Rectory of Our Lady of Tielt. It consisted of a main building and a gatehouse. In 2019 and 2020, this vicarage received a total makeover during the restoration works, before being used by the municipality.
On the outside, the masonry and iron sandstone were restored with natural hydraulic lime(NHL 3.5) from Saint-Astier. In addition, the façade was rejoined with our RC Astivo and tinted with our cement-free RC Kalei. Natural stone repair was carried out with our RC Amonit.
All work was carried out professionally by PIT Antwerp.
