RC SULFASTOP ZB
Sulphate blocking agent
RC SULFASTOP ZB chemically transforms hygroscopic salts such as sulfates and chlorides into highly soluble compounds. The salts can no longer migrate to the surface and can therefore no longer affect the wall and the upholstery in this way.
RC SULFASTOP ZB is an acidic product that dissolves calcium residues and cement dust on the surface and converts them into stable lime compounds. During this transformation, an SiO2 compound (silicon dioxide, silica) is formed in the treated substrate, which "vitrifies" the surface. These insoluble salts will no longer absorb moisture or water vapor.
Properties
- These insoluble salts are no longer hygroscopic and they no longer become humid in the presence of humid air or water vapor;
- Does not affect the wall's breathability;
- Does not contain solvents and is non-flammable.
