RC 8 MORTELVET introduces a large number of very small stable air bubbles into the mortar, improving workability and reducing the frost sensitivity of the hardened mortar. Due to the high water retaining capacity of RC 8 MORTELVET, the risk of segregation is considerably reduced and the mortar remains workable longer. The adhesion of the mortar in the plastic phase is considerably increased.

RC 8 MORTELVET can be used in combination with our product RC ACRYPLAST, adhesive emulsion for mortar and concrete. This application is recommended for bricklaying of hard or slightly porous building blocks such as concrete blocks. RC ACRYPLAST considerably increases the adhesive strength. A higher final strength of the mortar is also obtained.
