The Drongengoedhoeve in Ursel (Knesselare) from 1746 is a listed building in the middle of the Drongengoed forest and was restored in two stages.

During the first phase, the entire timber frame was softblasted and treated with Sarpeco 910 to kill woodworm. Recovered bricks were filled in the hollow spaces with lime mortar. The walls were finished with our 100% cement-free RC Kalei based on natural hydraulic lime from St-Astier.

The second phase consists of the installation of a polished concrete floor that was finished with RC M050-LIT and RC M060+, which are a hardener and a sealer for concrete, respectively.

This restoration was carried out by contractor Piet Willems from Maldegem.
